Trinidad Don't Czech Out

OK, England's victory over Jamaica was enjoyable, but let's face it, ultimately meaningless in terms of what it will mean for England's success in the World Cup Finals.

However, the Czech Republic's 3-0 mauling of Trinidad and Tobago is more meaningful for England. The Czechs own 6' 7" striker Jan Koller scored two and created absolute havoc amongst the T&T back line. Crouch could, conceivably, do the same. Admittedly, though, Koller is built like a brick shithouse [technical term] and Crouch is a stringbean.

Blogger G'06 T-shirts said...

Hello there,

Sorry to post this in your comments section, but couldn’t find an email address.
Really enjoy your blog, it’s always nice to hear the views of the real fans.
Just as much as blogs offer a different point of view from the national newspapers, I realised all the t-shirts out there for fans were generally mass-produced rubbish. For that reason I have designed a range of T-shirts especially for the World Cup and England fans called G‘06, which can be worn just as easily during the day or in the bars and clubs after the games, as during the matches themselves.
They are available at if you fancy having a look, and if you like them any mention on your blog would be massively appreciated. As I said G’06 is just a few football fans that wanted nice t-shirts to wear to the pub to watch the footy.

All the best,

Usually I delete comments like this, but I'll let this one by.

You can view the shirts at

One word of warning, though, Rob - the FA and FIFA are aggressively pursuing anyone misusing their trademarks.
