Ireland Coach Kerr Under Pressure - Why ?

There is a growing body of opinion that should the Republic of Ireland fail to achieve at least a play-off place then coach Brian Kerr will be out of a job . My own view is that this is crazy considering the bizarre route that their qualifying group has taken. France have underperformed, Switzerland and Israel have over-performed and there is all still to play for.

France aside, none of the other three contenders can be said to have 'failed' in any way during this qualifying campaign and if you don't fail you shouldn't lose your job. I'm still hoping that the Republic win their last two games and they should certainly start with a victory over Cyprus.

TotalBet.com have them at a best priced 2/7 for the victory. Take the easy money. Click here to visit TotalBet.com.
