As The Dust Settles
OK, the 2006 World Cup is long over and the dust has settled.
It was good to see that England took a slating for epitomising mediocrity during the tournament. It was even better to see the Germans and the German FA admit they were wrong to be so critical of Jurgen Klinsmann and offer him an extended contract. And best yet, Klinsmann - having done as well as Germany could have hoped for - resigned, head held high and went back to enjoying life in California.
Good for him.
